Škoda Kodiaq Edition X: Celebrating 10 Years of the Flagship SUV

Škoda has introduced a special limited-edition version of its flagship SUV: the Edition X, created to celebrate ten years since the unveiling of the model that helped transform the Czech manufacturer’s global identity.

Since its debut in 2016, the Kodiaq has become one of the brand’s most important vehicles, combining practicality, modern technology and European design. The new Kodiaq Edition X builds on the already well-equipped SE L specification while adding distinctive styling elements and advanced technology.

The exterior features 19-inch Halti anthracite alloy wheels, metallic paint, dark chrome grille accents, chrome roof rails and a black D-pillar, giving the SUV a more distinctive presence. Rear privacy glass and signature LED lighting elements further enhance its premium appearance.

Inside, the cabin features the ecoSuite black design selection, combining perforated leather and artificial leather with grey dashboard accents. Comfort is enhanced with an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and lumbar support, ensuring a refined driving experience even on long journeys.

Technology is another highlight of the Edition X. The model comes equipped with LED Matrix headlights with adaptive front lighting and all-weather lighting systems, along with dynamic rear indicators and a welcome lighting signature. Convenience features such as keyless entry, push-button start and an electrically operated tailgate are also included.

Powering the new model is Škoda’s 1.5 TSI e-TEC 150 PS mild-hybrid engine, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission. The 48-volt system improves efficiency through smoother start-stop operation and energy recuperation during coasting.

Practicality remains one of the Kodiaq’s greatest strengths. The Edition X retains the model’s seven-seat configuration, generous cabin space and large luggage capacity, making it ideal for families and long-distance travel.
