Cadillac is marking its entry into Formula 1 with one of the most exclusive performance sedans in its history: the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series.

Created to celebrate Cadillac’s arrival on the Formula 1 grid in 2026, this ultra-limited edition will be restricted to just 26 units, directly referencing the year Cadillac joined F1. It is not simply a cosmetic package. Cadillac describes it as the most powerful Blackwing ever produced and the pinnacle of the V-Series lineup.

At the heart of the car is Cadillac’s familiar 6.2-liter supercharged V8, now upgraded to produce 685 horsepower and 673 lb-ft of torque. The extra performance comes from an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports. Each car also receives a CNC-machined supercharger cover created in-house by GM Motorsports, adding a motorsport-inspired mechanical detail to the engine bay.

One of the most important details is the transmission. The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series will be offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox, reinforcing the Blackwing’s identity as a driver-focused performance sedan. Cadillac also includes the Precision Package, positioning this special edition as one of the most track-oriented versions of the CT5-V Blackwing.

Visually, the car takes inspiration from Cadillac’s Formula 1 identity. Finished in Midnight Stone Frost, it features a monochromatic exterior and interior theme, Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, Harbor Gray Metallic brake calipers, carbon fiber lower bodywork, and a Switchblade Silver pinstripe. Gloss black exterior badging and monochrome Cadillac crests complete the dark, racing-inspired appearance.

The F1 and FIA references go deep into the details. Cadillac adds official F1 and FIA logos across the car, including on the spoiler, rocker panels, sill plates, supercharger cover, headrests, center console, shifter medallion, and builder’s badge. The driver door also receives a stamped F1 logo using Cadillac’s new automated craftsmanship “autocraft” stamping technique.

The result is a sedan that blends American luxury performance with the symbolism of Cadillac’s new global motorsport era. With only 26 examples planned for the U.S. and Canada, the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is clearly aimed at collectors who want a direct link to Cadillac’s Formula 1 story.

Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2026, making this one of the rarest and most significant Cadillac V-Series models ever announced.
