Volvo EX30 Black Edition: A Bold New Look for Volvo’s Compact Electric SUV
Volvo has introduced the EX30 Black Edition, a striking new version of its compact electric SUV that combines minimalist Scandinavian design with distinctive dark styling details.
The Black Edition features high-gloss black design elements, including 19-inch wheels, tinted rear windows, black Volvo lettering and model badges, as well as colour-matched mirror caps and roof spoiler. The exterior is finished exclusively in Onyx Black metallic paint, giving the SUV a sleek and refined appearance.
Inside, the EX30 Black Edition features a unique Indigo interior, combining deep blue tones with studio-inspired textile materials and upcycled denim trim — an expression of Volvo’s sustainable design philosophy.
Technology remains a core element of the EX30. The vehicle uses advanced sensing systems including radars, cameras and ultrasonic sensors to monitor the surroundings and support the driver. Features such as adaptive cruise control, driver assistance technology and a large 12.3-inch centre display come as standard.
The electric SUV offers a range of up to 295 miles and can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 5.3 seconds in Single Motor Extended Range configuration. A heat pump is included to help maximize driving range in varying conditions.
The EX30 Black Edition continues Volvo’s growing line of dark-themed models, following the introduction of Black Edition variants across the XC90, XC60, XC40, EX40 and EC40.
