OMODA 5 SHS-H: OMODA UK Introduces Its First Full-Hybrid SUV for 2026

OMODA UK is preparing to launch its first full-hybrid model, the OMODA 5 SHS-H, marking a major milestone for one of the UK’s fastest-growing automotive brands. Set to arrive in March 2026, the new full-hybrid SUV expands the brand’s electrified line-up, offering British customers an efficient alternative that requires no plug-in charging.

The OMODA 5 SHS-H builds on the success of the existing OMODA 5 and all-electric E5. Powered by a 1.5-litre turbo full-hybrid system paired with a dedicated DHT automatic transmission, it delivers up to 150 kW of combined output with front-wheel-drive performance. Designed for everyday UK driving, the system balances efficiency and responsiveness across urban and longer-distance use.

With a total driving range of over 650 miles and fuel efficiency of up to 53 mpg (WLTP), the OMODA 5 SHS-H offers strong real-world usability. Acceleration from 0–62 mph takes 7.9 seconds, while the hybrid system operates seamlessly without changing driving habits.

Visually, the OMODA 5 SHS-H retains the model’s bold design while introducing an updated front grille, revised bumper design, and refreshed alloy wheels for 2026. Five exterior colours will be offered to UK buyers, with optional two-tone finishes on selected versions.

Two trim levels will be available. Knight focuses on design, connectivity, and safety, featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED lighting, dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, intelligent voice control, and a full suite of driver assistance systems. Noble adds a more premium layer with features such as a 540-degree surround-view camera, SONY 8-speaker audio, ambient lighting, and heated and ventilated front seats.

Priced from £25,740 OTR for Knight and £29,240 OTR for Noble, the OMODA 5 SHS-H will be supported by a 7-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in March 2026 through OMODA&JAECOO UK’s nationwide dealer network.
