Breitling adds a new strike force to its Avenger Hurricane squadron, with an instrument clearly cut out for great accomplishments. The superlative-charged Avenger Hurricane Military asserts its character in an imposing 50 mm case made of Breitlight®, an exclusive high-tech material 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel, yet significantly harder.
It is endowed with a number of qualities (exceptional resistance to scratching, traction and corrosion, thermal stability, along with non-magnetic and non-allergenic properties). To set a unique and reliable cadence for timing impressive feats, the Avenger Hurricane Military houses Manufacture Breitling Caliber B12, chronometer-certified by the COSC and displaying the time in an original 24-hour mode, as is used in the military and among pilots. The luminescent numerals and hands bear a vintage yellow-beige colour, a nod to the instruments produced by the brand for the aeronautical and military fields from the 1940s to the 1960s. This model is issued in a 1,000-piece limited edition.
