Renault futuREady Strategy: Electrification, EV Platforms, and Global Growth
The Renault is entering a new phase of growth with its futuREady strategy, outlining an ambitious roadmap toward electrification, global expansion, and technological innovation through 2030.
The brand aims to sell 2 million vehicles annually by the end of the decade, with half of those sales coming from outside Europe. A key pillar of this strategy is electrification, targeting 100% electrified sales in Europe and 50% globally.
Renault will launch 26 new models over the next four years, covering segments from compact city cars to larger vehicles built on next-generation platforms. The new RGEV 2.0 electric platform introduces 800V architecture, ultra-fast charging, and up to 750 km of range, positioning Renault competitively in the EV market.
Hybrid technology remains central, with the E-Tech full hybrid system continuing as a bridge toward full electrification, offering efficiency and usability for a broad customer base.
The strategy also includes a strong international push, leveraging production hubs in regions such as Latin America, India, and South Korea to scale growth beyond Europe.
Concepts like the Renault Bridger highlight the brand’s direction, combining compact SUV design with modular powertrain options, including hybrid and fully electric configurations.
