Urban Jürgensen Reference 1140 PT Blue Mechanical Hand-wound Watch

Urban Jürgensen Reference 1140 PT Blue Mechanical Hand-wound Watch
Since 1773, time has taken its course at Urban Jürgensen, shaped by virtuoso craftsmen and women into creations of extraordinary beauty and precision. Proposed as a 30-piece limited series, the new Reference 1140 PT Blue is no exception.

Urban Jürgensen Reference 1140 PT Blue Mechanical Hand-wound Watch

Its apparent simplicity hides a wealth of expertise, brought to bear as tradition demands, patiently and without haste. Each dial is the result of more than 700 separate stages; the guillochage alone takes two days to complete. The hands, which are also manually crafted, require the utmost precision down to the final polishing. Inspired by Urban Jürgensen's historic pocket watches, the large Arabic numerals in white gold call on skills that have all but disappeared. All these elements reside inside a platinum case, inside which beats the P4 calibre. It too is manufactured in Urban Jürgensen's workshops, where tranquillity reigns.
