The WinterCraft WP71 is intended for medium to large-sized passenger cars and is notable for the V-shaped lateral grooves running from the centre to the shoulder area of its tread design. These provide enhanced water displacement and excellent handling on wet roads – the braking distance on such surfaces is 14 percent shorter than those achieved by its predecessor. The new tyre will be available in certain markets in time for the next winter and in all major fitments from 16 to 19 inches.
Said Han-Seob Lee, Kumho’s recently-appointed new CEO: “The REIFEN exhibition in Essen is the most important trade fair in our industry. It will be a great opportunity for us to target the European market, as it is a global event in which all the leading companies participate. I am proud that our company is introducing so many new products to the European market and am looking forward to stimulating conversations with our customers."
