Forming a resolutely graphic composition, this slender mechanism affords a view of the fascinating coiling of the barrel-spring and the constant rotation of the various interacting wheels and pinions. The orange-clad hands and hour-markers create dynamic contrasts with the overall all-black look, while ensuring perfect readability.
